Biography

Mônica de Toledo-Piza Ragazzo holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo, a master's degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from the University of São Paulo and a PhD in Biology - City University of New York History. She is currently a professor at the University of São Paulo. Has experience in the area of ​​Zoology, with emphasis on Taxonomy of Recent Groups, acting mainly in the systematic study of freshwater fish Neotropical with emphasis on the order Characiformes
