Biography

Graduated in Biological Sciences Medical Modality (1981), obtained the titles of Master and Doctor of Science (Molecular Biology) by the Federal University of São Paulo (1985 and 1989, respectively). She is currently Full Professor of the Pharmacology Department of the Biological Sciences Institute of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He is part of the faculty of the Graduate Programs in Biological Sciences: Physiology-Pharmacology and Professional Master's Degree in Biopharmaceutical Innovation. It operates in the field of Pharmacology of synthetic or natural substances that affect the cellular development (mitogens, cytotoxic and cytoprotectants).
