Biography

Miguel Trefaut Rodrigues graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of Paris, obtaining his doctorate in Zoology and his free teaching by the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo. He has been a Professor of the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo,he was Director of the Zoology Museum of the University of São Paulo, Head of the Department of Zoology of the Institute of Biosciences USP, President of, Member of the Deliberative Council of Curatorship of the Zoological Scientific Collections of the Instituto Butantan and the International Herpetological Committee. He is Research Associate of the American Museum of Natural History, titular member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Sciences of the State of São Paulo
