He graduated from the School of Islamic law and Law in Al-Azhar University (1992). He completed his MA (1995) and Ph.D. (1999) in the field of Islamic Law in Marmara University. He worked as specialist in commentary of the Holy Qur`an project of the Department of Religious Affairs (2000-2001). He continued his scientific studies in England (2001-2006).
Formation of early Islamic law literature, discussions of renewal in usul al-fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), contemporary Islamic legal thought and critical edition of manuscripts.
