Biography

In 1994 Megan graduated from Randolph Macon College in Virginia with a degree in Psychology. That same year she became a Certified Massage Therapist, receiving her certification from Richmond Academy of Massage. After college, Megan worked as a Physical Therapy Tech and massage therapist for several years before returning to school to become a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.   Upon graduation from John Tyler Community College, Megan’s first job as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant was at a rehabilitation hospital. She spent 4 years there gaining valuable experience working with a wide range of patients recovering from surgeries, illness, and complex medical issues.  Megan’s career then took her into the outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine setting, where she spent 11 years honing her skills.  With her different areas of education and variety of skill sets, Megan’s level of treatment for all patients is greatly enhanced. She is thrilled to be a part of this team because of The Gait Center’s philosophy of treating patients one-on-one.  Of course we, The Gait Center, feel very fortunate to have Megan join our team!   When Megan is not treating patients, she loves to read, jog and spend time with her husband Andy and two kids, Zach and Brooke.
