Matt began his clinical practice after graduating in 1996 from the first PA class at Butler University. He has served many communities throughout his career in both Indiana and Tennessee. Matt's passion for the PA profession is demonstrated in his decade-long commitment to the Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA). He has volunteered in various leadership positions within the IAPA organization and has served on the executive board. He currently serves on the IAPA legislative committee and advocates on behalf of the PA profession at the state level. He also has mentored several NP and PA students. Through the Indiana Area Health Education Center (IAHEC), Matt has volunteered his time to teach others about the roles of PAs in patient-centered primary care teams. He has been fortunate to co-author four different publications in sports medicine. Matt joined the Butler University PA faculty in January 2016.
