Mary Maxey (Paul) is a biological technician (wildlife) at the USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center where most of her career has been spent. She earned her B.S. in Zoology from the University of Georgia. Mary has worked on numerous projects ranging from environmental contaminants, migratory birds, endangered species, habitat restorations and photograhy of native bees. Currently she is an animal cartaker for the captive American Kestrel (Falco sparverius), Eastern Screech Owl (Megascops asio) and Japanese Quail (Coturnix japonica) colonies.
