Prof.Mary Cushman has received her M.D., University of Vermont College of Medicine, Burlington, Vermont. Currently he is working as Professor in university of vermont. She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Professor. Her research is focused The epidemiology of coagulation, inflammation, and other vascular-related domains in relation to etiology and pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases (myocardial infarction, stroke, and venous thrombosis) and other diseases of aging.She have reciveed many awards such as Editor-in-Chief, Research and Practice in Thrombosis and Haemostasis (RPTH),Member, Board of Directors, Cardiovascular Research Institute, University of Vermont , Member, Board of Directors, American Heart Association,President, Vermont Board, American Heart Association etc,.

Research Intrest

The epidemiology of coagulation, inflammation, and other vascular-related domains in relation to etiology and pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases (myocardial infarction, stroke, and venous thrombosis) and other diseases of aging. The role of disorders of coagulation in venous and arterial thrombotic disease, and the therapy of these disorders. Racial disparities, especially in stroke and venous disease. Etiologic factors in post-thrombotic syndrome and chronic venous disease.
