The complex structure of Anesthesia and Resuscitation, directed by Martin Langer, Professor of Anesthesia and Resuscitation at the University of Milan, since January 2006, deals with the anesthesiologic management of patients undergoing surgery at the Foundation's operative units ( 7000 to 8000 surgeries / year) and the respective perioperative medicine. The Intensive Care Unit (director Daniela Codazzi) has in its 6 beds the most complex cases after surgery, patients who are not in critical condition (500 to 600 admissions per year) and follow critical patients in the Hospital Departments .
