After starting his career working in pharmaceutical manufacturing of oral solid dosage forms for two years for a major US-based pharmaceutical company, he joined the Animal Health business of Boehringer Ingelheim in 1997 as a manager in formulation development
 He currently also fulfils the function as the Qualified Person for veterinary investigational products.
