Biography

Mark White, M.D., M.P.H., is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Clinical Sciences (DCS) and is the Vice-Chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences (DCS) at The Commonwealth Medical College (TCMC).He received his MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC and his MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health in Pittsburgh, PA. His main research interests encompass a variety of topics in community and public health, public health in medical education, environmental epidemiology, reproductive health, clinical care, and environmental justice. His work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, and he has many presentations and poster presentations. He holds adjunct faculty appointments with Penn State Hershey School of Medicine and with Walden University School of Health Sciences, and he serves as a member of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) Environmental Justice Advisory Board (EJAB).
