Mariana Szapuová, PhD., Is a graduate of the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of Charles University, 1987, he worked at the Department of Philosophy and History of the Philosophy of FiF UK, first as a lecturer and as a lecturer since 2010. Pedagogically and researchally he focuses on contemporary epistemology, feminist philosophy and philosophy of science. She has been involved in solving a number of domestic research projects (VEGA, SOP Human Resources, EQUAL Initiative), as the leading Slovak team, participated in several international projects implemented under the 6th EU Framework Program and the Lifelong Learning Programs of the Grundtvig European Community. She is a member of the SAD Scientific Council for Humanities and Society and the Scientific Council of the SAS Philosophical Institute. In the years 2012-2015 she led the Department of Philosophy and History of Philosophy.
