Biography

The Maria Symeonaki is Assistant at the Department of Social Policy, Panteion University. She studied Mathematics at the School of Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) with specialization in Applied Mathematics. In 1998 she supported her doctoral dissertation at the same university, which concerned human resource management. He taught at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Department of Mathematics and Informatics), at the Ikarion School, at the University of Piraeus (Department of Statistics and Insurance Science) and at the Panteion University (Department of Sociology), while he participated in a number of research and development programs. Her research interests and publications mainly concern the study of population systems and their dynamic evolution over time, with applications in the field of education.
