He holds a PhD in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1999), a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2003) and a PhD in Infectology and Tropical Medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2012). He is currently Associate Professor III at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He has experience in the field of Pharmacy, with emphasis on Hospital Pharmacy, working mainly on the following topics: hospital pharmacy, rational use of medicines, pharmaceutical assistance, clinical pharmacology and patient safety.
