Biography

Prof Chitiga-Mabugu has worked at the University of Pretoria since 1 September 2014. She is the director and head of the School of Public Management and Administration. In her research, she focuses on analysing the economy wide impacts of public policies and other shocks to the economy. She is specifically interested in impacts on poverty, inequality and unemployment. In the past few years, she has been involved in collaborative research with various local and international partners.

Research Intrest

Prof Chitiga-Mabugu is mainly interested in analysing the impact of policies on society and the economy at large.
