After graduating from Boston College with a BA, I joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and moved to Yakima, WA. I developed and ran an after school program for migrant farm families. I then moved to San Francisco, CA and completed all of my nursing prerequisites while working in an area hospital as a physical therapy aide. My journey then took me to New York City to Columbia University for my nursing education. I worked in emergency medicine as an RN while staying on in school to complete my MS degree. After graduate school, I worked in an all-endocrine practice in an area hospital before moving to the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center at Columbia University. Following the birth of my second child, I moved to New Hampshire and have been working in family practice in Peterborough, NH. I joined Rivier in the fall of 2011.
