Biography

Marcelo Barrios is an academic MBA coordinator at the School of Business Administration. He holds a Bachelor's degree and a Professor in Economics from the Universidad del Salvador. He completed a Master in Business Administration from the IAE (Argentine Institute of Business), and obtained his Doctorate in Administration from the School of Economics and Business Administration (ESEADE). He has served as academic coordinator in various programs of the School of Business Management and the Business School of the UADE (Universidad Argentina de la Empresa). He also has a long career in teaching. He participated in more than a hundred congresses and seminars in recognized national and international establishments, such as the IAE, the TEC de Monterrey (Mexico) and the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona (Spain). Nowadays, In addition to coordinating the MBA at the University of San Andrés, he is the associate director of MAE Consultores. In the past he also worked in the private sector, mainly in tourism consulting. He is the author of the book Gestión de Negocios Turísticos together with Luis Grünewald, and has published several academic articles, popular articles and book chapters.
