I developed an interest in trauma care at medical school and did my Medical Elective in Washington D.C. at the MedSTAR trauma unit. I deployed to Afghanistan with the British Army in 2012 and was predominately involved in Pre-Hospital care with a short period also spent at the field hospital at Camp Bastion.
