Biography

Mahmoud Kadkhodaei received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Iran, in 2007. Meanwhile, from 2005 to 2006, he took a short-term research program on shape memory alloys at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada. Dr. Kadkhodaei joined Department of Mechanical Engineering at IUT as an assistant professor in 2007 and is currently a professor of the department. His present research interests are mainly concentrated on constitutive modeling of shape memory alloys under electro-thermo-mechanical stimuli. Prof. Kadkhodaei was distinguished as an outstanding Ph.D. holder of IUT in 2008, won ISME awards for supervision of the best BS project and MS thesis in the whole country in 2010 and 2015, respectively, received the IUT teaching excellence award in 2013, and was distinguished as an outstanding supervisor of IUT in 2017.
