He graduated from Ankara University Law Faculty in 1990 and completed his attorney internship at the Ankara Bar Association in 1991. He has done his LL.M. (1993), and Ph D in Law (2001) at the Marmara University. He also completed his PhD in Political Science (2002). He has lectured at Ataturk, Marmara, and Uludag Universities. He has published several articles in various national and international journals.
