Lynn Abell, MD is an assistant professor in General Surgery, Anesthesia and Critical Care and joined the faculty at The GWU School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2007. She is board-certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Dr. Abell completed surgical training at The George Washington University in 2006 and stayed on at George Washington to pursue a critical care fellowship. While she enjoys all aspects of general surgery, she has a special interest in colorectal surgery. From a critical care standpoint, her interests include clinical research and the care of the cardiothoracic patient.
