Luciano Aparecido Panagio holds a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the State University of Londrina (1994). He completed a master's degree in Microbiology at the State University of Londrina (2002) and a PhD in Sciences in the area of ​​Basic and Applied Immunology at the University of São Paulo (2006). Experience in charge of commercial pharmacy, hospital pharmacy and clinical analysis. It is dedicated to the following topics: Identification of fungi of medical, alimentary, biotechnological and environmental importance; In vitro tests of antifungal activity of new compounds; Experimental fungal infections in animal and alternative models; Synthesis of silver nanoparticles in filamentous fungi; Isolation and application of basidiomycetes fungi in recycling of organic and plastic products.
