Biography

Dr. Lucas Bleicher is Adjunct Professor at the Biological Sciences Institute of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He works in the areas of Structural Biology (Structure and function of proteins, Crystallography) and Bioinformatics / Computational Biology (analysis of families of homologous proteins by statistical and computational methods, molecular modeling). It has great interest in the interface between Biochemistry and Molecular Evolution.
