Dr. Glaser has been a primary care pediatrician for over 25 years, beginning in a private rural practice in Virginia and most recently with over 18 years at Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento. She is board certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. During her time at Kaiser Permanente she also served as Chief of Leadership and Communication Development for 10 years, as well as a variety of other administrative roles. As a senior Communication Consultant she created and facilitated communication courses for physicians of all specialties and tenure. She also created and led Leadership workshops for physicians. In addition she is trained in Mind Body Medicine skills and has led workshops in this area. Dr. Glaser was born and raised in Berkeley California and has two young adult daughters.
Dr. Glaser’s research interests are in areas such as: medical student wellbeing, the impact of medical student development of communication and leadership skills, childhood obesity and prevention, wellness and school performance.
