Biography

Lisa K. Angermeier, Ph.D, MCHES is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Health Education in the Department of Kinesiology at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis and is the Coordinator of the School of PETM's First-Year Experience. She is also a faculty member in University College at IUPUI. Dr. Angermeier earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling and Counselor Education from Indiana University. She earned her Ph.D. in Health Behavior from Indiana University and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist. Dr. Angermeier worked for three years at Eastern Michigan University before becoming a faculty member at IUPUI in 2001. She has taught first-year seminars in the School of Physical Education and Tourism Management since 2008 and the PETM Bridge since 2011.
