Graduated in Fármácia- Biochemistry from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (1995), Master in Biological Sciences (Microbiology) from Federal University of Minas Gerais (1998) and PhD in Biological Sciences (Microbiology) from Federal University of Minas Gerais (2003). During the period from 2004 to 2007 he completed postdoctoral training at the Immunopharmacology Laboratory (Dep. Biochemistry and Immunology - ICB-UFMG). Was tenured professor of Clinical Pathology course at the College of Technical UFMG from 2008 to 2010. Currently (since 2010) is Associate Professor of the UFMG School of Pharmacy and guides along the Graduate Program in Cell Biology, and Clinical Analysis Toxicology and Pharmaceutical Sciences of UFMG. It develops Research activities in the following areas: Interface between the Fibrinolytic System and Inflammation.
