Biography

Dr. Lillian Wambua is a molecular biologist at the School of Biological Sciences, University of Nairobi, Kenya. She is involved in research and building the capacity of Africa’s next cadre of researchers. Her overall research interest is to contribute to food security for Africa’s vulnerable populations through healthy, productive and resilient livestock resources. Her current research focus is the livestock-wildlife interface which is a hotspot for disease transmission and evolution.
