Lilian Cristina Pereira holds a PhD in Pharmacy from the University Center Hermínio Ometto - Uniararas (2009), Masters (2012) in Sciences, area of ​​concentration: Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto / USP (FCFRP) Toxicology, by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto / USP (FCFRP) with a traineeship abroad in the Life Sciences Department of the University of Coimbra, Portugal and Post-Doctorate by the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto ( FFCLRP) in the Department of Chemistry. She is currently Professor of Engineering in Bioprocesses and Biotechnology, teaching the discipline of Pharmacology and Toxicology (Unesp / Botucatu). It works mainly in the following subjects: Evaluation of mechanisms of cytotoxicity, genotoxicity and mutagenicity of emerging environmental contaminants and modulation of cell death: apoptotic, necrotic and autophagic. Using alternative methods as experimental tools, such as isolated hepatic mitochondria and monolayer (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) cell culture.
