Biography

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Immunology, Microbiology and Tropical Medicine at The George Washington University. Master's and PhD in Parasitology by the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Currently Adjunct Professor in the Department of Parasitology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Has experience in immunoparasitology, acting on the parasite-host relationship in infections caused by helminths and protozoa.
