Biography

PhD, Psychology, University of Alberta, 2001 BA, Psychology, University of Alberta, 1995 Dr. Leanne Willson is a research psychologist who has published and presented research in cross-cultural psychology and personality, on-line learning, the cognitive sciences and, most recently, in social cognition – an area that deals with the ways in which what we think is related to how we behave. She is most interested in the ways that what we believe is related to our morality.

Research Intrest

She is also passionate about students and about teaching. She teaches courses in Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Research Methods & Statistics, Learning and Memory, and is currently developing and teaching two Senior Research Project Courses. She emphasizes the methodological tools and language students need to critically evaluate social scientific knowledge and is very concerned with points of application to lead us toward living well.
