Lauri M. Burroughs, MD, is an attending Physician at Seattle Children’s Hospital, Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the University of Washington School of Medicine (UOW-SOM), and an assistant member in the Clinical Research Division and in the Pediatric Stem Cell Transplantation Center of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC). Board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric hematology-oncology, Dr. Burroughs is a member and clinical trial investigator for the Pediatric Immune Deficiency Treatment Consortium (PIDTC). Dr. Burroughs earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. She performed her residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis; and completed her fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at UOW-SOM in Seattle.
Her research interests include hematopoietic cell transplant for patients with primary immunodeficiencies and other nonmalignant inherited disorders, and she has focused her research efforts on reducing transplant-related complications.
