Kurt C. Demel is a Assistant professor, Department of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation, University of Minnesota.he had Completed his MD, University of Cincinnati; residency in internal medicine, Christ Hospital, Cincinnati; fellowship in hematology and oncology, Brown University, Providence, RI. Dr. Demel has been recognized by the National Cancer Institute for his commitment to clinical research.Dr. Demel is an investigator in several National Cancer Institute-sponsored trials through the Metro-Minnesota Community Oncology Research Consortium and pharmaceutical companies.

Research Intrest

special interests include head and neck cancer and benign/malignant hematology. He is also very interested in the emotional, spiritual and physical aspects of cancer survivorship.
