Kristin Ritzau, M.A., has been teaching in the M.A. in Leadership and Leadership Minor programs since 2011, engaging her students in the praxis of selfÂ-examination and application of theory to everyÂday circumstances. Her experience includes nonprofit event management, church leadership, founding a ministry, and running a homestead with her family in Monrovia. A seasoned speaker and workshop leader, Ritzau is also the author of A Beautiful Mess: A Perfectionist’s Journey Through SelfÂ-Care (Conversant Media Group, 2010). Her main areas of interest are individual identity transformation and organization change theory, as well as incorporating models of nonviolent communication, spiritual formation, and narrative pedagogy. Now pursuing her Ph.D., she seeks to integrate spiritual formation and leadership as she examines sustainability and stewardship for the purpose of restoring broken systems in the world.
