Mr. Kostadin Pavlov Kanchev is Chief Assistant Professor in Veterinary parasitology and Parasitic diseases in Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Forestry, Sofia, Bulgaria. He is working for his PhD thesis on distribution, epidemiology, pathogenesis and diagnosis of tenuicol cysticercosis (caused by Taenia hydatigena metacestode) in Bulgaria. His professional interests based also on diagnostic approaches in parasitic diseases in dogs, cats and some exotic animals. He has also worked on ecological methods for purification of water from sexual products of various parasites in Bulgaria.
