His research interests includes purchasing and supply chain management, with special interests in public procurement, e-procurement, global sourcing, maverick buying, fairtrade supply chains and using organizational theories in purchasing research.. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Katri Kauppi ( o.s. Karjalainen) is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.
