Biography

I am a Ph.D. holder in Computer Science from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland since 2006. My Ph. D. subject is ‘A study of the evolution of the models for document recognition written in Arabic within an interactive context’. I am holder of a Master in Modelling and Management Information Systems; and a Bachelor in Management Information Systems from the Higher Institute of Management of Tunis, Tunisia. I have been involved in many projects with industry (Tunisian Banks, Tunisia Ministry of Higher Education) either as consultant or as a programmer. I have rewritten the entire course syllabus and the Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) of all the courses within my department. I have been member and/or chair of several university level committees dealing with quality assurance and curriculum review during several quality assurance review including both programme review as well as institutional review. Ahlia University is the first and best private university in Bahrain based on the Quality Assurance Authority classification. I conducted successfully, in October 2013, the quality team for the Programmes-within-College Review (PWCR) by the Directorate of Higher Reviews (DHR) of the National Authority for Qualifications and Quality Assurance of Education and Training (NAQQAET), Bahrain.
