Dr. Mallhi specializes in hematopoeitic stem cell transplantation for the treatment of patients with childhood cancers and nonmalignant disorders. Specifically focused on patients with inborn errors of metabolism, marrow failure syndromes, primary immunodeficiencies, hemoglobinopathies and histiocytic disorders. Other clinical interests include the use of alternative donor sources such as umbilical cord blood and haploidentical donors, as well as prevention of acute transplant related complications and studying the long-term effects of transplantation.
