Biography

Dr. Jun Xia pursuit his Bachelor degree in Applied Physics, University of Science and Technology of China in the year 2004.He then carried out his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering (Ph.D.) from University of Toronto in the year 2010.The main focus of his research is to develop novel optical and ultrasonic imaging techniques to meet needs in cancer and neurological research. In his lab, students will have the opportunities to be trained in optical and ultrasonic engineering, he involved with preclinical and clinical imaging studies, and was collaborating with chemists, physicians and neurologists in Western New York and Ontario Canada.
