Dr. Swick is a native of Florence, SC and received her undergraduate degree in Science Education from Clemson University. She graduated Summa cum Laude and with departmental honors. Following Clemson University, Dr. Swick studied at the Medical University of South Carolina gaining her Medical Degree with honors. She then continued at MUSC completing an Internal Medicine internship, Dermatology residency, and Dermatopathology Fellowship. Dr. Swick served as Chief Resident during her final year of residency. She has published articles in several dermatologic journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and authored presentations at regional dermatology and dermatopathology meetings. Dr. Swick’s diverse training has prepared her to treat patients of all ages and skin types with a wide variety of dermatologic condition
