Biography

"Julie is a registered mental health nurse specialising in substance misuse problems, dual diagnosis and homelessness. Julie joined City University London in 1997 and she previously worked in community mental health services. Julie initially worked in community mental health specialising in drug and alcohol problems and with the homeless mentally ill. She has undertaken research about the relationship between homelessness and mental illness, student preferences in assessment and the use of audio feedback for formative assessment. She is Associate Dean, Director of Undergraduate Studies in the School of Health Sciences and leads on the innovative use of technology in education and practice."
