I studied Bcom Accounting Sciences at the University of Pretoria, and I completed my Honours in 2006. I did a year of Academic Articles in the Department of Taxation in 2007, and completed the remainder of my articles at Grant Thornton Pretoria. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010, and stayed on at Grant Thornton as an audit manager until July 2014. I worked briefly at a consulting firm in Johannesburg specialising in the research and development tax incentive before starting at the University of Pretoria.
Her reseacrh focus is on Accounting sciences & Taxation.
