Biography

Mr. Josiah K. Chepkwony is currently a Lecturer at the University of Kabianga. Before joining the University of Kabianga, he was a Chief Technician and part-time Lecturer at the University of Eldoret. He has also taught at Karatina University. He holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Forestry from Moi University. His area of specialization is Tropical Forest Biology and Silviculture. He also has a Bachelors Degree in Forestry from Moi University and two Diplomas, one from Kenya Forestry College, Londiani and another from Helsinki Summer School, University of Helsinki, Finland. He is at the moment a registered Doctor of Philosophy student.

Research Intrest

His research interests include provenance and tree species selection for propagation and planting on farms, establishment and management of forest plantations, and conservation and management of natural forests.
