Biography

Dr. José A. Prieto is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. His research interests includes Organic and organometallic synthesis, Lewis acid catalysis, new methodologies for the synthesis of biologically active compounds, chiral synthesis of polypropionates based on oxirane chemistry. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. José A. Prieto is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to Organic and organometallic synthesis, Lewis acid catalysis, new methodologies for the synthesis of biologically active compounds, chiral synthesis of polypropionates based on oxirane chemistry.
