Biography

João Miguel de Matos Nogueira holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo , a master's degree and a doctorate in Biological Sciences (Zoology), also from the University of São Paulo. Currently Associate Professor of the Department of Zoology of the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo. He has experience in the field of Zoology, with emphasis on invertebrates, working mainly on the following topics: taxonomy, Polychaeta, Terebellidae, Syllidae, Sabellidae and Serpulidae.
