Biography

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidade Católica de Brasília (1989), a master's degree in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology) from the University of Brasília (1993) and a doctorate in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology) from the University of Brasília (1998). He has a degree in Biology from Universidade Católica de Brasília (1989) and a Master's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Brasília. He is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He has experience in Molecular and Botany Biology, working mainly in the following subjects: floristic and systematic of Orchidaceae and molecular biology of plants.

Research Intrest

Molecular Biology of Trypanosomatids, Identification and characterization of active promoters in phytonematode feeding sites, Cloning and characterization of genes with insecticidal effect, Molecular strategies for the control of sedentary phytonematodes, Molecular biology of plants, Molecular biology of Trypanosomatids, Molecular systematics, Orchidaceae sitemates.
