Dr. Frizzell has been teaching pathophysiology and pharmacology at La Salle University for more than 20 years. Other courses that she has taught include physical assessment, research, and statistics. Prior to coming to La Salle, Dr. Frizzell, has had a variety of professional experiences in nursing, clinical laboratories, and education. She has more than 18 years of experience as a critical care nurse prior to becoming an adult nurse practitioner. Her critical care experience includes working in both ERs and ICUs as a staff nurse, nurse manager, consultant, and clinical nurse specialist. She has also taught chemistry, anatomy, and physiology laboratory and basic science courses for nursing students. Additionally, she has also taught high school biology and chemistry Her prior work experience also includes clinical laboratory microbiology and radio-immuno chemistry analysis. Based on this prior work experience, she is the Director of the Level 3 Clinical Laboratory for the La Salle Neighborhood Nursing Center.
