Biography

Jim Tsiamtsiouris, PhD, CCC-SLP is chair of the Department of Communication Disorders and associate professor in speech-language pathology in the College of Science and Health at William Paterson University. He is licensed as a speech-language pathologist in New York and New Jersey, holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-LanguageHearing Association, and maintains an active clinical practice. In addition, he teaches courses in professional issues, counseling, and fluency disorders. Outside of his work at William Paterson, Dr. Tsiamtsiouris serves as site visitor for the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and SpeechLanguage Pathology and committee member for CAPCSD’s Communication Sciences and Disorders Centralized Application Service.
