Biography

Jesús Navas Castillo holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Granada and a doctor (1991) from the Universitat de València. It is CSIC Research Scientist bound at the Institute of Horticulture Subtropical and Mediterranean "La Mayora" (IHSM-UMA-CSIC) and Associate Professor of Cell Biology, Genetics and Physiology Professor. His scientific career has been completed stays at the Laboratoire de Biologie Cellulaire et Moléculaire (INRA - Université de Bordeaux II, France), the Station de Pathologie Végétale (INRA Montfavet, France) and the Citrus Research and Education Center (CREC, University of Florida, United States).
