Biography

She is an Associate Professor (Docent), Dept. Analytical Chemistry, Lund University (LU), Sweden and did her Ph.D in Dept. Analytical Chemistry, LU, Sweden. Supervisor: Prof. Lo Gorton. Faculty opponent: Dennis C. Johnson, Iowa State University, USA. 1985: B.Sc. Dept. Analytical Chemistry, LU, Sweden. Currently she is Head of the strategic research field Lab-on-a-Chip systems together with Prof.Henrik Bruus, DTU Nanotech, DK

Research Intrest

Development of micro- and nanosensing tools in general for bioanalytical chemistry and bioelectrochemistry applications, based on microfluidic systems and 2D/3D micro- and nano Integrated microfluidic- and sensor array systems for development of bioassays and biosensors based on immobilised enzymes, antibodies, cells or tissues for real-time dynamic monitoring of intra and extracellular cellular events to gain insight into biological processes at cell level.
