Biography

Jennifer Guthrie was born and raised in Beech Grove, IN. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Xavier University in 1998 with a Bachelors of Natural Sciences, and then went on to graduate Cum Laude with High Honors from Butler University in 2000 with her Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Jennifer has practiced as a PA in family medicine since 2000, and continues to see patients at Family Medical Center in Seymour, IN. She took a full-time faculty position teaching in the PA Program at Butler University in January 2012, and currently serves as the Director of Experiential Education and Assistant Professor for the program. Jennifer completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree in May 2014 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Jennifer married her high school sweetheart, Joe Guthrie, in 1999 and they have been blessed with two wonderful children, Sydnee age 13 years and Clayton age 11 years. Jennifer and her family currently reside in Columbus, IN.
